COMMUNITY EYE HEALTH OUTREACH

The Morris Sam Foundation organised a Community Eye Health Outreach in Jakande Estate, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, providing free eye testing and vision screening to members of the community.

The outreach was made possible through a partnership with Dr. Daniel Oluwatosin Anthony, FCNA, and Eye Health Support System, combining professional eye-health expertise with the Foundation’s commitment to community development and humanitarian support.

The programme included free eye testing, vision screening and eye-health awareness, with 50 eyeglasses provided for the first 50 people identified as needing glasses. Cataract cases were also considered for discounted surgery, while individuals living with blindness received attention and appropriate guidance.

For the Morris Sam Foundation, the outreach represents a commitment to making essential healthcare more accessible and addressing real needs within vulnerable communities.
